RiverXchange is produced by New Mexico-based Orilla Consulting, LLC, owned by Amy White, who has managed the program since its inception. RiverXchange was developed in 2007 by Experiential EE, LLC and Illinois-based National Great Rivers Research and Education Center with just two class partnerships. The program has grown from two partnerships in 2008 to 66 partnerships in 2012, all thanks to funding from New Mexico water resources agencies and in-kind contributions from dozens of organizations!
Orilla Consulting, LLC provides consulting and project management services on water resources topics to several agencies. All projects are carried out by teams of independent contractors who have a wide range of skills, work experience, certifications and interests.
Amy White is the CEO/Owner of Orilla Consulting, LLC, and RiverXchange Program Director. Amy holds an M.A. in Education from the University of New Mexico and a B.S. in Chemistry from Harvey Mudd College. She developed the RiverXchange curriculum and has managed the program since 2007.
